Some people find their way to natural wellness through a health scare. Others through a book, or a doctor’s advice. I found mine through my kitchen, my daily routine, and a quiet but persistent belief that the way we eat and live matters far more than we’ve been told.
My name is Jay, and I’ve been living a sattvic lifestyle for over a decade. That means whole, plant-based foods. No meat, no processed junk, nothing that clouds the mind or burdens the body. It started as a personal discipline and became something I genuinely love — a way of eating that leaves me feeling clean, grounded, and energized rather than heavy and foggy.
Alongside that, I’ve been training consistently for 14 years. Not as a hobby I pick up and put down — as a non-negotiable part of my life. That long-term commitment to physical health has taught me something important: the body responds to consistency and simplicity. You don’t need complicated supplements or extreme diets. You need real food, real movement, and real patience.
Why Sattvik Healing?
I started this site because most wellness content online is either too clinical or too trendy. It swings between dense research papers nobody wants to read and influencer advice that changes every six months. I wanted something in between — honest, grounded information rooted in Ayurvedic tradition and backed by real nutritional understanding, written by someone who actually lives this way.
Everything I write here comes from genuine curiosity and personal experience. When I cover a herb or a vegetable, I’ve either eaten it regularly, researched it deeply, or both. The Ayurvedic framework isn’t something I learned from a weekend course — it’s a lens I’ve applied to my own diet and wellness for years, refining what works and letting go of what doesn’t.
What You’ll Find Here
Sattvik Healing covers Ayurvedic herbs, healing foods, and natural wellness practices. You’ll find detailed articles on vegetables most people overlook, herbs with genuine therapeutic value, and practical guidance on eating in a way that supports long-term health rather than short-term fixes.
If you’re new here, a good place to start is the Ayurveda for Beginners guide. If you’re already familiar with Ayurveda, browse the Ayurvedic Herbs section — there’s plenty there for someone who wants to go deeper.
Thanks for being here. I hope something you read on this site makes your life a little healthier and a little more grounded.
